World Music School (WMS) Open Mic at the Helsinki Open Waves is a live show, moderated by Pedro Aibéo, chairman of the WMS at the Helsinki Open Waves in Caisa. Every 4th Wednesday of the month at 16:00 Finnish time.
The show invites musicians to talk about their work and lives and play live music. The goal is to promote local artists, preferably from foreign backgrounds and around world music. The interview is done in different languages (EN, PT, DE, ES, FR).
Dj Bunuel started playing records at his school party autumn of 1977.
All these years he stayed curious and always looking in all kinds of marginals, not believing in musical, geographical or temporal categories, but in pearls.
For Dj Bunuel, every song he plays is like giving a gift to the listener.
You can hear him on Yle Vega on weekly Lux on Sundays and Yle Radio 1 on monthly Tunti vapaalla. Both shows are on Yle Areena for a month.
